Seoul Fashion Week did not disappoint. The designers showcased some incredible talent, unique perspectives, and general
I was given an incredible opportunity to attend a few of the shows, wear some awesome clothes by Varyd Designs, and meet a ton of inspiring people. We’ll kick it off with Rocket x Lunch and Romanchic, both very different and unique.
Rocket x Lunch
I started the day with Rocket X Lunch, a contemporary casual brand. Staying true to his designs of hidden details and bold colors, he showcased bright easy to wear pieces. It was casual, and unexpected. Some things that stood out in the show included athletic tear away pants, back tied tops, breezy pajama-style two pieces, and bright blues, reds, oranges, and greens. Irene opened the show strong and I was so surprised to see her. (check out her Instagram here).
The models had unfinished, voluminous hair in ponytails with hats, hoop earrings, and strong geometric eye makeup. It was dark, lights were bright, and unfortunately my picture are a bit blurry.
The outdoor stage was bright and allowed the designs to really shine. Romanchic was showing on the outdoor stage Saturday afternoon. Designer Choi Hye Jung’s aesthetic showed a flirty yet elegant collection. Simple and sophisticated, the designs were easy enough to be worn right off the runway, but the accessories added an element of funk and surprise.
The collection was soft in color with whites and blacks, and colors popped in all the right places (you know that is always my favorite!) The black floral print meshed well with the rest of the collection. I especially loved the jackets she showcased, and their ruffled backs. Super chic and easily wearable.

The shoes were funky, the beads and pearls oversized, the accessories were well thought out. Dewy, fresh makeup, low unkept side buns, and bold lips finished the models’ looks.
