Product Review: Boots Botanics Part 2 (Organic)

I’m back with more to say about the Boots Botanics line. If you missed my first post, check it out here. On to the next products…

Organic Range
I opted to try the Hydrating Day Cream in this range because it doesn’t contain spf or Vitamin A. I use my own spf in the morning so I don’t need one added. I like the fact this product is 81% of natural and organic origin, and you can see that by reading the ingredient label. It is super moisturizing, but it can feel a little oily. I honestly don’t use this as a day cream, as my foundation just slips off. It works as a great night cream, so that is how I’ve been using it. If you have oily skin this might not be the product for you.

Another product I picked up was the Super Balm. This stuff is awesome, and by far the best product from everything I purchased at Boots! It is 93% organic and made from a variety of oils. I love this as lip balm, cuticle cream, under my eyes, and to moisturize dry areas. The texture is nice and absorbs well. It is solid in the jar then melts like butter on contact. It doesn’t have a fragrance. I love this and carry it with me everywhere. It is a really small jar (not like a body butter jar) but a little goes a long way. I’ve been using it over 6 months and there is still plenty of product left.

Overall, I’m satisfied with the Organic range. The ingredients meet my preferences and I would recommend them if someone is looking for moisturizing products. If you are ever around a Boots, pop in and browse their products. You won’t leave empty handed!
